Corelytics Financial Dashboard is First Application of its Kind for Windows Azure with QuickBooks Integration
Revolutionary financial dashboard enables businesses to compare their financial performance with peers
July 14, 2011 – 11:30am PDT
Today Corelytics, Inc. introduced the first SaaS-based financial dashboard with built-in peer benchmarking to the Windows Azure Marketplace and last month, Corelytics reached the $1 billion milestone in aggregate transactions.
The comprehensive dashboard enables businesses to easily view their financial performance and offers the unique ability to see peer benchmarks with the aggregate performance of the industry. Corelytics’ focus started in the IT services industry and now has comparable financial performance data for a variety of business types.
Corelytics’ hosted subscription has quickly grown to almost 1,000 subscribers among Solution Providers, Managed Service Providers, Telecom and VARs, giving users the power to analyze their key financials against their peers. In addition, they can set/track goals and forecast best and worst case scenarios all without data entry.
“The information we’ve been aggregating over the past few years is helping shape the understanding of the IT industry like no other financial dashboard and Windows Azure gives us the technology to expand on a global scale,” said Tony Lael, Executive Vice President & Co-Founder of Corelytics.
Mr. Lael is delivering an educational session called “How to Manage Business Financials in 30-Minutes a Month” on July 14 at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference. During the session, he’ll explain how IT providers can proactively plan the future of their business with more confidence.
Also at WPC, Corelytics Research released a paper titled “Peer Relationships that Yield Profits” describing the financial benefits of peer networking. The paper demonstrates the financial impact of partnerships, together with the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), and estimates that $1 spent on partnership resources generates $2 – $8 in gross revenues.
Corelytics is participating in the Front Runner for Intuit Partner Platform using Windows Azure. With QuickBooks data in Windows Azure, Corelytics can deliver and expand services quickly to customize solutions specifically for the unique needs of new vertical markets.
“Corelytics linking to Intuit in the Windows Azure Appfabric is a great example of multiple vendors providing integrated solutions that expand its value proposition” said Kim Akers, General Manager for Global ISV partners, Microsoft Corporation.
Benchmarks Based on Actual Accounting Data
While industry intelligence and benchmarks are typically based on survey data from a single point in time, Corelytics financial data is fed monthly from current accounting systems with no data entry. With special QuickBooks integration, businesses can set up in minutes with Intuit QuickBooks Web Connector so monthly refreshes are instant.
